"I try to find something positive to say, and I’ll say this: the people at this particular agency have been very professional, polite, caring - but that’s where it ends. DON’T USE STATE FARM. If you have a claim, good luck dealing with their corporate claims team. I’ve spent 3 days being transferred from department to department. I’m on hold for 30+ minutes each time. All for the person to say, “oh, this isn’t the department for that” and proceed to transfer you to another. This has happened MULTIPLE times so far and I still have no resolution, or any update for that matter. Their corporate staff is clearly not trained and will bounce you around from department to department with no idea if it’s the right one or not. Over the last 3 days, I’ve spent over 10 hours on the phone and my questions are still not answered. You cannot talk to the same person each time, and don’t even try to get a manager to help. I’ve had 3 employees tell me it’s against policy to transfer me to a manager, but that they’ll send a message to their’s and get back to me once they get a response. All 3 times I was told, “my manager never gave me an answer, my manager went home, etc”. I finally raised my voice, got upset after being extremely polite, explained I’ve been calling for 3 days straight to solve a problem, have spent more than 10 hours on a phone, and demanded a manager. I was hung up on. I’ve already switched my insurance before my claim has even finish. It’s an actual joke dealing with their corporate claims team. Local agents are great, very polite, but they can only help you so much. You can’t get away from their corporate team if/when their needed."
